Our renewal program, A Time of Blessing, is designed for women who are seeking personal renewal, or are in a time of transition, or on leave from mission.  We, the staff, are deeply committed to supporting and encouraging the personal freedom and empowerment of the women who come to Berakah.  Thus, in recognition of, and respect for the uniqueness and freedom of each individual, our program invites participants to choose from among a variety of courses and weekend workshops, as well as to avail themselves of growth counseling, and spiritual direction, which are offered as part of the program.
Each woman thus personalizes her program in accordance with her own particular needs for personal, spiritual, emotional and intellectual renewal and growth.  Of equal importance are the choices she makes in response to her needs in the areas of nutrition, exercise, rest and recreation.

To provide as much as possible for the differing prayer needs and styles of our participants, a variety of prayer experiences as well as Eucharist are offered on a regular basis.  The program concludes with a retreat (directed or private), and an integrative process to assist participants in appropriating more fully the blessings of their renewal time as they continue their life journey.

If you are looking for an opportunity to renew yourself, yet cannot be free for four months, please contact us about attending part of our program.

Persons in pre-novitiate and novitiate formation may wish to use our four-month program as a component of their community's program. Our courses in scripture, theology, spirituality, religious life and personal growth can help provide a solid foundation for persons in the early stages of religious life, as well as enriching those seeking current updating at a later stage in their on-going formation.
