This guided retreat will introduce you to six Gospel women whose lives were changed by an encounter with Jesus. You may have heard their stories many times. However, you are invited to come and meet them again -- face to face and heart to heart -- and discover how their empowering stories can become yours. There will be one conference a day.

Jesus used parables to shake us out of our usual way of seeing things in order to help us see as God sees, to see ourselves, others, our world, and life itself through God’s eyes, in order that we might be more effective in helping to bring about the kind of world that God desires for us.  This retreat invites us to open ourselves to risk the challenge of the parables – a challenge that will undoubtedly change us and our whole perspective on reality.

Sabbath-making and Sabbath-keeping is a gift of grace, a gift of kairos. Unlike chronological time, - minutes, hours, days, nights, weeks, months, and years – kairos time or Sabbath time is time celebrated and savored,  time to be, to be with ourselves or with others, time to enjoy the goodness of God’s creation around us and within us.  This Sabbath time of retreat is an opportunity to explore and discover your own ways of celebrating God and time and yourself in your everyday life.
